What is happiness? Happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfillment. While happiness has many different definitions, it is often described as involving positive emotions and life satisfaction.

No one person has experienced happiness without the help of others or pets. Happiness is a state, not a trait; in other words, it isn't a long-lasting, permanent feature or personality trait, but a more fleeting, changeable state. Happiness is equated with feeling pleasure or contentment, meaning that happiness is not to be confused with joy, ecstasy, bliss, or other more intense feelings. Ultimately, real and lasting happiness comes from growth. It is who we become in the process that brings us lasting happiness. And still, we focus on all the wrong stuff. The paradox is that if you'll focus on becoming a better person every single day, success and happiness will come as a by-product. The golden rule of happiness is that “the more you make others happy: the happier you will be”. Happiness is something that you feel from within. In addition, true happiness comes from within yourself. Happiness is basically a state of mind. Moreover, it can only be achieved by being positive and avoiding any negative thought in mind. The real happiness lies in your heart. As per the elders who have studied life, real happiness is when you help others and make them happy. Search your happiness in making others happy. That is the real happiness. Happiness is a choice. True happiness comes when we realize our oneness with God. In order to be happy, one must be grateful to God for the many things he has given us. We should be happy for such a precious gift called life. Furthermore, It is not necessary to have many big things to be happy. True happiness is the combination of positive emotions and having a sense that life matters in some way. This can emerge from things like doing work that we value, engaging in fun activities, making an impact in the world, or building stronger connections with others. Happiness is the ability to experience gratitude and meaning amidst all experiences. Happiness isn't a life full of perfection but rather finding the good or the purpose within whatever the circumstances - as flawed and as imperfect as they may be. That is what generates happiness. There are many different types of happiness that you can attain: joy, excitement, gratitude, pride, optimism, contentment and love, to name a few. Each person has something unique that makes them happy. As you become more self-aware, you'll be able to reach a new level of contentment. The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved; loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves. When people are happy they feel joy and warmth. Not everyone has the ability to feel happiness or be happy.
