UNDERTinge is an Undertale AU owned by Teamtinge, where characters and areas are shifted around. Explores a fantasy setting with magic, spells, and elements. Significantly changes the characters, their personalities, design, setting and backstory.
A more light-hearted au, but still as serious compared to it's original release in Jan 22nd, 2019. UNDERTinge has been constantly discontinued and recontinued 2-3 times. 1rst in Sept 1st, 2019, 2nd in Feb 8th, 2022 it was almost completely abandoned. It has in 2022, and 2023 been rebooted and picked back up and has continued to be worked on.
UNDERTinge was originally created by Mrmitten and Flamitcy, though it was abandoned by Flamitcy years later.

- Frisk has the soul hope instead of determination
- Gerson is the introduction character
- Sans is the antagonist
- Monster Kid replaces Toriel's battle
- Gaster and Chara are both ghosts
- Mushroomy assumes the Flowey role
- Alphys is a dragon
- Mettaton is a magician
- Chillbs assumes the Grillby role
- Cakepants assumes the Burgerpants role
- Purple assumes the snowdin shopkeeper role
- Undyne is a robotic beta fish
- Shell assumes the river person role
Undertale Characters[]
Frisk[]
Frisk is a wizard, who's tasked to free the monsters.
Gerson[]
A fisherman, who happens to come across Frisk and introduces them to the underground. Has a long and storied history with the underground.
Chara[]
A ghost who helps the player on their journey so they could get their soul back.
Napstablook[]
A ghost type monster who can never truly die.
Toriel[]
A witch who is guilty for cursing the king.
Monster Kid[]
Student of Gerson, who is tasked to learn from Frisk.
Sans[]
Main antagonist, is more of a psychological menace than an outright foe.
Papyrus[]
Often has mood swings, fighting two personalities at the same time.
Temmie[]
Fashion police of the underground.
Undyne[]
Was once betrayed by sans and fell from a great height, resulting in them becoming a robotic beta fish.
Mettaton[]
Forgotten by Alphys, decided to become a magician.
Muffet[]
Richest in the underground, goes by Monopoly Muffet since they own everything. They use their riches to help others.
Alphys[]
A depressed dragon, who was injured by the actions of sans. Holds a deep grudge.
Asgore[]
Silenced king who is constantly trying to free his people. Guilty for the damage he caused.
Asriel[]
Long lost son of the dreamurr family, ran away from home after Chara was slain. Became a mushroom due to Chara's curse.
Gaster[]
An evil ghost who tries to take control of Frisk.

Purple[]
Shopkeeper who is brave and outgoing, but self-reserved as well.
Chillbs[]
Quiet, but strong. He is the strongest and smartest monster in the underground.
Shell[]
A river person who is always on the search for Gerson, who saved their life during the wizard and monster war.
Mushroomy[]
Doesn't want anything to do with anyone, and would rather be left alone.
Admin[]
Machine of Chaos. Responsible for sans' chaotic tendencies.

- Ruined Ruins + Luminescent Hallow replace the Ruins
- Fallin replaces Snowdin
- Toxic falls replaces Water fall
- Obsidian Plateaus replaces Hotland
- Stunning Stadium replaces MTT Resort
- Molten Core replaces the Core
- Frosted Castle replaces the Judgement Hall

- There are status effects:
- Poison: Hurts the player in the menu, similar to KR.
- Burn: Similar to KR, but can kill you.
- Slowness: Slows you, obviously.
- Turn take-away: Takes a turn away, obviously.
- DE, Darkness Energy, lowers your HP, while Level increases your attack
- Wizards are humans who wear shards of a magical star
- Monsters are humans or wizards who absorb shards of a magical star
