Undertale AU Wiki

Welcome to the Undertale AU Wiki, the main place for documenting Undertale's AUs. If you wish to contribute, just know that it is REQUIRED for you to read the Rules and Guidelines and the Policy of the Wiki BEFORE doing so.

As this is an AU Wiki, this wiki is NOT meant for characters. The Undertale OC Wiki exists for those. This Wiki is also not meant for AUs that do not have presence anywhere else, and those should be put on the Undertale AU Ideas Wiki.

This article contains information that is from a completed AU. All parts of the story have been released and are readable at any time.

Undertale The Musical is a musical version of Undertale by Man on the Internet. The AU is split into Undertale the Musical, which is the main playlist, and the Genocide Package, which contains the Genocide related tracks. While mostly following the same canon as Undertale, a few minor changes have been made.

Besides the 2 packages, there are 4 Undertale lyric videos that are in neither of the packages, being Entry Number 17: Dark Darker Yet Darker, Dummy!, Hoi I'm Temmie! (which contains the Temmie Village related tracks) and The Shopkeepers' Song. A collection of songs for Deltarune was later also made, under the name Deltarune The (Not) Musical.

Changes[]

  • Toriel is still with Frisk during their encounter with Napstablook, saying that "ghosts are not for hitting" when Frisk starts repeatedly wacking them with their stick.
  • Mettaton calls others "my dear", rather than "darling".
  • Flowey is the one who hired Muffet, and is present during her song/fight.
  • Alphys is present while Frisk is exploring the True Lab. She also escorts them to the True Lab directly after her date.
  • Muffet acts much more Underfell-like, and has a similar "kill or be killed" mentality to Flowey.
  • Mettaton has a proper Genocide battle, with the Power of NEO (IKARUS Remix) being used rather than the canonical Power of NEO.

Trivia[]

  • The AU is named after Undertale's program window name during Mettaton's musical segment.
  • The individual videos for Metal Crusher, Metal Crusher (Reprise), and Bergentrükung have been taken down due to legal issues, however they can still be heard in the full video containing the entire musical.
  • Several jokes are made about the musical being written as a stage show (ex. while Papyrus is training Alphys after her date, he exclaims "Let's jog a hundred laps around the theater, hooting about how great we are!" while a red curtain can be seen in the accompanying artwork.)
