Undertale: Project Sigma is an Undertale AU in which invaders of an unknown origin are causing trouble in the Multiverse to attain an unknown goal. As such, a group known as the Guardians, led by a certain King Multiverse, begins to worry about them. It is quickly revealed thet they originate from another Multiverse. As the story progresses, more is explained about this mysterious other Multiverse.
Characters[]
Eight Supra[]
One of the Guardians, known to be the Guardian of secrets, whose task is to decide what information is told to the rest of the Multiverse. Seemingly disgusted by the world around him, he desires the salvation of a realm. According to the other Guardians, he is a very old being. Ink!Sans, however, accuses him of being a potential traitor, and King Multiverse doesn't trust him. His goal is to return in the past to kill a man known as First Supra.
Crono[]
A skeleton, that has a relationship with Eight. He also is the Guardian of time. He is a part of Eight's plan, holding a strong rivalry with a being only known as Time. Though he believes himself to always be behind his rival in terms of competences, he eventually decides to train under Charline to improve his capabilities.
Senton Reinholt[]
Senton Reinholt is a person that observed the discussion between Crono and Eight, and calls a certain "Gulli" about it.
Jack Blake[]
Also known as Virus404, he is a being that used to serve another person that is now dead for the pure sake of becoming stronger. Now having taken his former master's sword, he destroys in the Multiverse for the pure sake of destroying, without any further intent.
BTA!Chara[]
The Chara of the Bad Time Alliance, that is first introduced as the Chara of Storyshift, that gets attacked by one of the invaders. Thanks to her plant magic, she eventually gets rid of the invader, but falls on the ground after the fight. She eventually comes back to consciousness and reunites with White_Glitch and the rest of her group, trying to help her group in any possible way, even if she is weakened.
Psyka[]
One of the invaders of an unknown origin, though she seems to originate from another Multiverse, specifically from a universe called Cheattale. She seems to have a grudge against happy Charas, to the point where she derivates from her original goal just to kill one. Her boss is a Frisk/Gaster fusion. She is known as the soul of Jealousy. She slowly reveals herself to be a sympathetic person when she doesn't try to achieve her goal and that can easily get friends, but that can also be manipulated in getting information.
Crisk[]
One of the invaders, from an unknown place. Not much is known about him except that he is an ally of Psyka, that seems more focused on his mission.
Error!Sans[]
Error!Sans is one of the two Guardians of balance, and is later revealed to serve Error!404. He is widely known to be a great destroyer, and is overall antipathetic. He hates Multiversal society as well as people that try to affect anything other than their own timeline.
Dream[]
Dream is the Guardian of positivity, that doesn't act much during the meeting. He is the caretaker of Ben, and is usually seen as the most trustworthy of the Guardians. One of his goals is to revert Nightmare back to his original state.
Vos!Sans[]
Vos!Sans is the Guardian of space, or Guardian of travels, whose task is to ensure the stability of the Multiverse in case some persons become too destructive. He breaks down the situation during the meeting of the Guardians. He doesn't like King Multiverse, but still obeys him. He is an antisocial Sans that rarely talks unless necessary. He usually stays calm and does not hesitate to be harsh when he talks about others. He also has great knowledge about the Multiverse as a whole, including its politics and criminals.
Frisk Marusina[]
Also known as CORE!Frisk, Frisk Marusina is the Guardian of knowledge, and an omnipresent Frisk that can get any information they want in the Multiverse. However, they know nothing about the two intruders.
King Multiverse[]
The king of the Multiverse and leader of the Guardians, that has been contacted by a being coming from another Multiverse. He tries to understand the situation. He is aware of the hatred most of the other Guardians have for him. He also doesn't trust Charline.
Charline Southeast[]
Sometimes referred to as Lorekeeper, she is first mentioned by Senton during his call. She seems to belong to another Multiverse like the invaders, yet instead opts to help the Guardians to know more about them. She hops from place to place to stop the numerous threats that are coming to the Multiverse.
She is a person that values life over emotions. As such, she may also often show herself as harsh or inconsiderate.
Maintale Frisk[]
The Frisk of Maintale. She originates from its first timeline, being a pacifist ending. She is asked by a woman called White to join her. At the beginning, she hesitates on serving King Multiverse, because while he wants to protect the Multiverse like she does, his methods do not advantage her. Later, she decides to try to become a Guardian, to get the private informations the Guardians have. To do this, she partakes in the missions of the Guardian while being taught the basics about the work. One of her biggest desires is to help her Chara.
Eria Crimson[]
A girl that originates from the Maintale universe, also called Suzy by the Monsters, and that used to know Chara back when the latter was alive, until she was forgotten in the Void, an event she herself barely remembers and that is indicated to have a relationship with the Gaster of her universe. The story shows her after she came back from the Void. She is brought by White_Glitch to team up with the Frisk of Maintale. Her first mission is to give a letter to the Gaster of Clinictale in hopes to save Maintale Frisk, which, even with Psyka's interference, is a success.
Maintale Chara[]
The Chara of Maintale, the spirit of a long-time dead girl that follows the Frisk of her AU through her adventures, since they share their soul.
Ink!Sans[]
The Guardian of creativity, one of the two Guardians of balance, that missed the meeting. He is accused of being a potential traitor by Eight Supra, and is very impopular among the Guardians. He is obsessed by the potential of other Multiverses, though his intentions are unknown, excluding his intention to annoy Error!Sans. He is not to be trusted. He believes his superior to be an imbecile. Though he states he is not one to act mindlessly, he tends to fake to be easy to get in combat with when it comes to people he doesn't know.
During the fifth episode, he reveals himself to work with Psyka and Crisk, but in the sixth, he reveals himself to want to betray them. However, his goal is to make the Multiverse limitless. He is incredibly unstable mentally and his behavior may change from time to time.
White_Glitch[]
A young human-skeleton hybrid that works for Lorekeeper. She takes care of Maintale Frisk and Eria. She has a very low opinion on the Guardians.
Maintale Asgore[]
The Asgore of Maintale, king of the Monsters in that universe. He is very protective of his people, Frisk, Chara and Eria. He gives his authorization to bring the Frisk of his AU into the Multiverse as long as she returns in one month or less.
Bleed!Sans[]
The Sans from the Bleedtale universe, that works for another person.
Alpha!Sans[]
Also known as Adam, Alpha!Sans is King Multiverse's advisor. He originates from the first AU, Alphatale. He can't be seen by a person unless this person knows about his existence. He helps Charline to understand the past of the Multiverse better while trying to gather information about the other Multiverse, yet he doesn't trust her.
Ben[]
Dream's apprentice. He was given to Dream by Eight to be taken care of. However, he actually acts as a "Teenager in the middle of his crisis" according to Dream, and a kid according to Vos!Sans.
BTA!Papyrus[]
The Papyrus of the Bad Time Alliance, originating from Underswap. He is called Straw as well.
BTA!Sans[]
The Sans of the Bad Time Alliance, also called Smiley.
BTA!Toriel[]
A Toriel from a new Altertale that serves as the apprentice of the Bad Time Trio. According to BTT!Sans, she is going to replace BTT!Chara during a few missions.
Lucas[]
Also known as Ink303, Lucas is the former Guardian of Creativity. He is an introverted person that hates King Multiverse's system, that he considers "corrupted". He got kicked out of the Guardians because he attacked King Multiverse, after the latter insulted sushi. He now uses the Guardians Castle as a garbage dump. He is first shown fighting Jack, but is blocked by an orb. However, he gets lucky as Jack frees him in exchange of bringing Error404, which he accepts since he wants to kill any survivor of Alphatale.
Darno Excolas[]
Darno Excolas is a Human that gets himself to fight Jack, though fails easily. After his defeat, he comes the servant of BTA!Chara.
Naberius[]
A well-known threat in the Multiverse, and a major antagonist of Undertale: Project Sigma. He is a green skeleton, and owns the second volume of the Multiverse criminals index. He desires to get rid of King Multiverse, then to take over the Multiverse.
Errisk[]
Errisk is Error!Sans's apprentice.
Letter!Chara[]
Letter!Chara is Ink!Sans's apprentice. She is given the mission to retrieve a material called Necron in multiple AUs.
Fresh[]
Fresh is a parasite that takes the body of a Chara. It gives a message from Ink!Sans to Letter!Chara.
Wendy Gaster[]
Wendy Dings Gaster is a female Gaster variant that first appears in the Determinatale NEO universe since she is busy eating people there. When Vos!Sans and Maintale Frisk find her, they try to fight her, but fail and gets saved at the last moment by Charline. During this event, she infects Maintale Frisk and reveals she knows Charline.
Cleaner!Sans[]
Cleaner!Sans is a Dust!Sans variant.
Time!Gaster[]
Time!Gaster is an antagonist of Undertale: Project Sigma and the mastermind of Eight's plan. He rarely ever shows himself, and when he does, he rarely shows emotion, opting to always be professional.
Cipher!Chara[]
Cipher!Chara is one of Error!404's minions. She serves as a spy for him.
Phoenix[]
Phoenix is the most recent of Error!404's recruits, and is also among the strongest ones. Though she works for Error404, she classifies herself as a protector.
Error!404[]
Error!404, also known as the White Demon, is a known figure throughout the Multiverse. He is the leader of a large organization, though its goal is unknown as of now. He has two main enemies, being Ink303 and Virus404, and while he doesn't care about the former, the latter annoys him, and he tries to destroy him.
Fatal_Error!Sans[]
Fatal_Error!Sans is one of 404's minions, though his main use is to terrify Error!Sans. Error!404 claims that he may have other uses in the future.
Xeoss[]
A robot that is Crono's apprentice. Since it is a pure robot, it lacks emotions and all of the ones it shows are faked in order to manipulate others for numerous goals, mostly to gather information, or to simply make allies comfortable. It mostly shows politeness to its interlocutors. Xeoss also has access to most of the data of the Guardians and to many features for easier movement.
Clinic!Asgore[]
The director of the hospital in Clinictale. He is respectful towards others and spends time helping others if he can. He has fired the Gaster of his universe for unethical experiments and doesn't talk about it.
Poppy Marusina[]
Poppy Marusina is CORE!Frisk's granddaughter. She is an inhabitant of the Omega Timeline with a lot of informations about external events.
Switch!Toriel[]
A young Toriel that resides in the Omega Timeline.
Mark[]
Originating from the Clinictale universe, Mark is one of Gaster's assistants in this AU. He reluctantly leads Eria and Xeoss to his Gaster, seemingly being hostile to their presence.
Clinic!Gaster[]
The Gaster of Clinictale, fired from the main hospital due to unethical experiments. After he has been fired, Charline and his boss have helped him fund his new laboratory. Thanks to this, to thanks Charline, he accepts to help with Maintale Frisk's leg, amputating it.
Locations[]
Ex-Medievalia place[]
Simply described as the "Ex-Medievalia place", it is the introductory location of the AU. It has a giant red clock in the sky.
Storyshift universe[]
The Storyshift universe is where the intruders are first noticed, due to Psyka attacking Shift!Chara.
Guardians Castle[]
The castle of the Guardians, that serves as their base of operations. They reunite inside it to share their informations about potential threats to the Multiverse. It is full of paintings and of gigantic doors.
Maintale universe[]
A universe known as Maintale, which is similar to the Undertale universe after the pacifist ending, but with new persons that do not exist in the Undertale universe.
Omega Timeline[]
Described as the center of the Multiverse, the Omega Timeline is a safe haven for many inhabitants of the Multiverse owned by CORE!Frisk, as most people that are not in their universe are there. It also serves as a secondary residence for Charline and White.
Bleedtale universe[]
A universe called Bleedtale, where Jack Blake prepares himself to make an alliance.
Alphatale universe[]
While not the first universe to have ever existed in the Multiverse, it is the first AU to have ever existed. This AU is now in ruins. It is the origin universe of Alpha!Sans.
Determinatale NEO universe[]
A universe where everyone got injected with artificial determination. In this AU, the determination generates heat, and melt the snow in what was known as Snowdin.
Multiversal sea[]
The Multiversal sea is a point to access to other universes.
Naberius Castle[]
The castle in which Naberius lives. It serves as the headquarters for his organization.
Clinictale universe[]
The Clinictale universe is a universe in which the Undertale cast serves as the staff or patients of an hospital, and where Humans and Monsters are interchanged. Eria and Xeoss are sent there to give a letter to the Gaster of the AU and to find a way to heal Maintale Frisk.
Doodle Sphere[]
The place where Ink!Sans leaves. It can also be a pathway to the Guardians' Castle.
