Undercore is an AU by Secreat. It is a written story originally written by Secreat on the New Undercore Wiki. It has been re-posted onto Wattpad with Secreat's permission.
Undercore is a very mysterious and old AU that existed while the Alphatale was not yet destroyed. Undercore is one of few AU's/places that are hard to find and gain access to unless you are from that AU, if you are not from that AU it is impossible to enter this AU unless you know its location. Undercore is protected by a mystical barrier made by a god "Creator", this barrier hides Undercore from the sight of anyone outside, so it is hard to find an entrance to that au (until the barrier was eventually destroyed by the inside). Undercore has two stories. The first one is like in other Undertale AUs and involves a war against humans. The humans eventually won. After the monsters lost, they were sealed under Mt. Ebott. However, in reality, a third race manipulated humans to start the war. The second story is happening after the reboot event.
The Remake Secreat1 is making Undercore no longer is an Au that existed alongside Alphatale but is an Au that came into existence after a mysterious event known as coalescence that has affected whole multiverse.
the new story beings similar till the reboot where the true changes are show where we learn a lot more about the world they live in and

Alphys didn't much change, however, after the event, Alphys not only became a scientist but also an engineer. She invented a gun and used it during the final battle (she gained some exp). Besides, nothing has changed,
Annoying Dog[]
Annoying Dog is first introduced in the dark age in the Temmies village. He was the first one that tried to steal the light but he ended up dying and so he become an annoying dog. After he became the dog, he gained the power to see the future and banish people who are trying to steal the light and knowledge in which he knew the beginning of the beginning (he knew how undercore was made and why).
In remake he doesn't appear at all
Asgore and Toriel[]
Asgore, along with his wife, Toriel, is a ruler of the monster kingdom and later becomes the king of the underground. He is a kind person, but when he is provoked, he is very scary. Like his son, he speaks in Southern slang (most notably "howdy" and "golly"). He is a powerful leader that will do what is needed to keep his kingdom safe. He is very bad at naming (for example, he wanted to call his son “Torgiel”). After the reboot event, he remains the same.
Toriel is Asgore's wife. She is a very kind and nice person and is very strong. She enjoys cooking and baking a butterscotch cinnamon pie. Toriel likes making puns and took care of Sans when Gaster was away. She is the adopted mother of Chara and the biological mother of Asriel. Toriel will do anything to make sure that nothing bad happens to her family.
Asriel and Chara[]
Asriel is the biological child of Toriel and Asgore and the younger brother of Chara. Asriel has many abilities, such as flying, and he is very good at both close and long-range combat. Asriel is friends with Papyrus and Frisk, and they make quite a team. Asriel is a prince and the future king of monsters, he is a good warrior and politician thanks to his parents teaching him.
Chara is a human with a Determined soul. Chara is very good at using magic as well as fighting, but she is very bad at showing others that she loves them. Chara is the 3rd strongest character in Undercore. She is very dangerous when she fights seriously and she is even more dangerous when she is teamed up with Sans. Chara can use “shortcuts”, and, like Sans and Gaster, she remembers the resets. Chara doesn't or doesn't want to remember anything about her past cause every time she tries to remember she feels a lot of pain.
In the remake Chara her life wasn't good till she escapes her adopted family and runs away towards the monster kingdom where she ends up being adopted by Toriel. As for Asriel he is much older than Chara and we first see him post-reboot, he also had an older sister that he for quite a time blamed himself for her death
Frisk[]
Frisk well mostly was the same until the event. After the event frisk didn't go to Mt.Ebott and stayed at home living with her family until the dark age begone and her world turned upside down. During the dark age, she becomes a vigilante/mercenary who helps people and hunts demons. She is the last member of her family and the second living human with Dt-soul.
In Remake Frisk like Chara are part of the Datum family that inherited the DT-Souls, Frisk didn't fall to undercore as she was livign with her family, and first appeared in post reboot story along side many new people.
Gaster[]
Gaster is the most powerful being in Undercore. He is the father of Papyrus and Sans and the older brother to Julie. Gaster is a very smart person and also very scary, he has a big issue "when he got an idea nothing can stop him from making that idea real that's why he made sans and papyrus". Unlike most of his other versions, he never fall to the core and lived his life with his sons. He also was born with unique magic known as void magic (the magic that was seen only in Gaster's ancestor W.D.Zegrid). His void magic gives him control over the void he can enter and leave the void.
In remake, Gaster is a younger sibling while Julie is much older he is still very smart and didn't fall to the core but innate of void magic he uses dark magic as well he becomes quite manipulative as he is behind both civil war in both human and monster territory. Gaster is ver old and very knowledgeable that alwasy makes move few stepds ehead before makign the first move.
Gerson[]
Before Undyne, Gerson was the leader of the royal guard. He is a very good friend of Asgore since he was his strategic adviser during the war against humans. After the monsters were sealed underground, he took care of Undyne and made her the new leader of the royal guard. After the reboot, during the dark age, Gerson was the one that train undyne, and become her mentor and hero,
In remake Gerson is still the leader of royal guards and friend with Asgore but insite of adopting Undyne he met her long ago and became a menter to her
Grillby and Muffet[]
Grillby is a friend of Muffet, Sans, and Chara. He is a good and loyal person that you can rely on. Grillby opened a place in the Underground where you can eat or party. After the reboot, Grillby has become a member of a team called Blue Wind. During the dark age after a time skip, Grillby gains the title "Fire Demon". Grillby has a great talent at fire magic and making deals thanks to his father's teachings.
Muffet is a spider monster. She is a friend of Sans, Grillby, and Chara, and they all like adventuring and hanging out with each other. Muffet is not only a good friend - she is also a very good warrior and knows how to fight thanks to her mother. Muffet is also very good at making tea, coffee, and muffins. Muffet is also called "The Spider Queen"
In remake altho they are still firends the way they gain their titles is way difrent and that are more mysteries hiden bahidn it like Muffet trying to learn the story of her father and Grillby wanting to learn more about ancient magic
Mettaton[]
Mettaton is the same as the original, but the only difference is that Undercore Mettaton's normal form is his EX form.
Papyrus[]
Papyrus is Sans's younger brother, and, like his aunt, he is a very kind and positive monster. Papyrus is a good friend of Undyne, Asriel, and Frisk. For some reason, he is interested in meditation. Papyrus is one of the strongest monsters in the Underground. Papyrus is very dangerous when he loses his temper. Papyrus sometimes takes care of Gaster and Sans.
In the remake Papyrus is son of Gaster however he didn't live with his father no his brother, he doesn't even know they are related, in pre reboot hpapyrus was very young and didnt participate in a fight against the player
River Person[]
River person is very mysterious. No one knows very much about him, and he technically doesn't exist. He is a very quiet person. He is as old as the gods themselves. River person can be found "At the end of the road". He is the 4 powerful being inside Underscore, River Person possesses the weapon that can kill Fresh Sans. River person has many secrets that he likes to never tell, like him being part of the Order of light.
In remake river person is an allies that Jefferson used while he was in undercore, unlike previously Jeff never was part of the order but in his place it was Eliash
Sans[]
Sans, unlike his Undertale counterpart, is more active, he knows when to intervene. His favorite food is a hot dog and he likes adventuring. Sans is Papyrus's older brother and Gaster's first child. He is also Chara's best friend and boyfriend. Sans is also Gaster's assistant. Like his father, he likes puns and can be hyperactive at times. Sans can also be a little overprotective of his younger brother. Sans is the childhood friend of Muffet, Grillby, and Chara. He knows how to combine different types of magic together. After the dark age, Sans changed. Sans became much more serious; he stopped making jokes and started to antagonize his opponents. However, when Sans tells a pun, it means that something is about to happen.
In remake Sans has difrent name his new name is Samuel
Temmies[]
Before the event, Temmies were the same, but after the event, Temmies changed, and now they can see the future. However, they are still clumsy. The event also changed the origin of the Tommies. Now, they are the shell of dead people who want to take the light for themselves.
In remake the Temmies are not beings that originally lived in undercore but are a race of beings from difrent au that came to undercore in hope of a shelter it is them that brought the light of purity to the undercore
Undyne[]
Before the event, Undyne was the original leader of the royal guards that protect the underground. She acts quickly on her ideas and loves to help others, including being a mentor to Papyrus. Undyne dislikes puzzles and enjoys anime, which is an affinity that she shares with her romantic interest, Alphys. Undyne was an orphan, but that didn't stop her.
In Remake, after the event Undyne Del-Fall she is quite much the same she is not a monster but an alien from a race known as Atlantians that came down to Geneiz many years ago, and unlike others Undyne she dosent have determination trait but Justice trait which lead to her becoming the "Hero of Justice"

The Player[]
He is not only a part of the 3 races but also the only one that exists inside Undercore (at least before the event happened). After he stayed inside Undercore, his appearance changed. Now he looks like he is made of hate and the only things that you can see except that hate are red eyes and a red smile.!@&$%^ and the others like him that go outside of Undercore are called "Fake Players" by a whisper. After the reboot, he, his brother, and his sister were sealed in the dark realm, and they turned into demons. His personality is the same - he is sadistic and likes to see others suffer, and he is a masochist, and he reviled his name as Noah.
In remake The player is the first antagonist that appears in the story before the reboot event the player is from a very distant race that sense sudden change in the multiverse and decides to investigate it with lead them to learn about Undercore with lead them to send one of thier own to play a game there with lead to the first arc of the story. His personality is that of a sadistic maniac that enjoind pains and likse to torment the inhabitants of the undercore.
Demons[]
Demons came to exist after the reboot, they were trapped in hell for a long time. No one knew about their existence until they escape and the dark age begone. Demons seak only to destroy, corrupt, and rule the world
In remake Demons are new and first real antagonists that first appeared after the reboot. The demons wanted world domination as to why and why they came here is not known till it was revealed sometime later that someone had ordered them to doit.
Dragons[]
Dragons were the 3rd race that lived in the undercore, the dragon was a pride race that saw others as inferior to them, they despised lies and cheating in with that l them to be easily corrupted by evil, And so the dragon betrayed gods and try to kill them. The only difference that the event done to dragons was that the dragon betrayed the gods earlier.
In the remake the dragons were the first race that inhabited the world for a long time till they "exciting" and are now only heard in legends and stories
Julie[]
Julie is Gaster's younger sister and the aunt of Sans and Papyrus. She likes to smoke cigarettes when she is under stress. She is kind of like Papyrus, but she knows how to scare people. Julie is a healer - she knows how to save people from death. Julie in her young age called Scary Julie by everyone in the Pirate Seaport. Julie before and after the event is the strongest female in the world.
In remake, Jull is Gaster's older sister that travels around the world and learns more about martial arts as she herself is quite a martial artist
Jennifer[]
Jennifer is a cat monster, she is a pirate and she is an old friend of Julie and her old rival. Julie gives Jennifer the nickname Jeni. Jennifer is a very sneaky cat that can betray you or save you. She always wants something in the exchange for the work/deal.
In remake Jennifer is a cat monster, she is a former navy captain of Aru Kigndome forces and leads a rebellion against the demons in Aru Kingdome. Jennifer or Jenni as Jull call her although she doesn't add to it she and Jull are both rivals and good firends.
Primordials[]
Primordials are very mysterious beings that we know little about and only a few have appeared in Undercore like Anna, Eliash, or Jefferson they show themself in the future for a short time but their presence sure has impacted the undercore in more way then were shown.

The Light of Purity[]
The Light of Purity was originally called the Tree of Hope, but the light coming from the tree was so bright that everyone started calling the tree "The Light of Purity". This place is one big tree from where light emerges that can heal anything from corruption to a deadly wound. Many have tried to steal the light for themself but none of them has returned, while also there began to be rumors of mysterious entities known as Temmies. The light of purity is placed on the island where the Temmies village is.
The World of Dragons (Fallen City)[]
The World of Dragons is/was a floating island where only dragons can enter. The island has many mountains and a very big forest. The world of dragons is called the Fallen City because after the dragon's "exciting", the island starts to lose the magical energy that makes the island float. Now it's nothing but a destroyed island on the ocean.
The Void[]
The void is like many others void in the multiverse but in reality, is something much more. Gaster's can access this place, at any time, in any place, and do many secret things. From the void, Gaster has access to other places (for example, the save screen or dark realm). The only places that he can't enter are the anti-void, the 3 gods realm, and the Abyss. Inside the void, Gaster can observe other AUs and timelines. The void is a very mysterious place that holds many secrets, that we don't know about.
In remake The void was first shown in Chapter Zero as a place within yet also outside the universe from where U.Gaster was observing how undercore process over as well it is a location where the world code of the universe resides. This place is not so easy to enter as the way to enter there was not truly explained. However this void is just a smart part of something much more as the void is a very mysterious place that holds more secrets then we can thing off
Seaport[]
This seaport looks like a normal seaport for pirates (if you watch "pirates of caraibes" then you know). It's a place where Jeni spends most of her time.
In remake The seaport is just like any normal seaport in one of the stories we can see a seaport where Gaster and Doggo first met. It was also show when Asgore and Asriel left the monster kigndome in deligation to another country
Aru Kingdome[]
Aru island is an island full of sand and sun, on Aru island they live humans and monsters (like cats). Aru island starts existing after the reboot event. Aru Island knows about the titan's existence, Aru island was attacked by demons where the dark age began. Aru island has a culture similar to the Egyptian culture.
In remake Aru kingdom is one of many kingdoms on Tempest continent one of the five continents of planet geneis. In Aru Kingdome live humans and monsters (like cats), however, this kingdom was a takeover by the demons and was corrupted by them. The demons used that kingdom as their main base from where they started their world domination.
Merus Kingdome[]
Merus kingdom is one of the kingdoms on the Tempest continent Although we didn't saw much of it they were one of the forces that were opposing the demon's world domination.
Okami country[]
Okami island-like Aru island starts to exist after the reboot event. Okami island has a culture similar to Japanese, they have samurais, and have their own religion. There are live monsters, humans, and also demigods. To enter Okami island is the hard cause of the oceans, like Aru island Okami island was attacked by demons during the dark age.
In remake Okami countries like Aru kingdom appeared the first time post-reboot event. Okami country has a culture similar to the Japanese, they have samurais, and their own religion. There are live monsters, humans, and also at some point "gods and demigods". In Battle of time, we see the past of Okami when it was divided into many clans ruled by the shogun.
