Hopeless Experiment is a Deltarune AU created by ChumChimmy, with writing help from Dingus_Dinosaur & Bepo_Mepo33, and coloring/art assistance by Dingus_Dinosaur & Bepo_Mepo33. The AU focuses on Deedee Greene, the main protagonist, and her friends Spamton Krone, Jevil and Seam.
Together in the first chapter, they explore a new dark world hidden in a college art classroom. The protagonists must survive new darkners, including Undyne (the royal knight), Berdly (the royal puzzle master) and Papyrus (the king). There is an underlying mystery surrounding the prophecy, the insane version of Ralsei, a strangely antagonistic Kris, and a missing Susie, all surrounding a very, very interesting experiment.
The comic seems to potentially be a swap AU in some ways, but the main story of the comic has yet to be made clear. It is currently only is chapter 1 and is regularly uploaded on WEBTOON, Reddit, and Tumblr.
This AU is different from the original Deltarune. Spamton is now a Lightner, Jevil and Seam are married, Hometown is a big city, and most importantly there is a glitch that seems to be infecting their world. This AU is a digitally drawn Comic with new chapters released biweekly.
