Charatale is an AU where everyone is Chara, with the exception of Frisk. In the lore, all humans are replaced by Frisks and all monsters are replaced by Charas. Compared to other AUs of the same sub-type, the Charas do not entirely have the personality of the characters they replace, instead being a combination of Undertale Chara's personality and the personality of the character they are in the place of. The designs, as well as the entire base of the AU, are inspired by Caretaker of the Ruins.
Changes[]
- All the monsters are named Chara, with the exception of Flowey, who is still named Flowey.
- Flowey has rose cheeks like Chara does.
- The Charas have the sex of the characters they replace.
