Apprentice to Error is a story of three characters named Error!Sans, Error!Frisk and a wandering forgotten soul. Error surprised by the uninvited guest decides to kill them while Frisk tries to help them the best way they can. Suddenly Error becomes unaware of his surroundings as the wandering forgotten Soul is freed from his grasp, but Error would not be clueless for long. Will this poor soul survive this treacherous trip or will they perish at the hands of many foes they have yet to face?

Error!Sans[]
Error!Sans is Error!Frisk's teacher and helps them learn their powers so that they can destroy alternative universes in the Multiverse so he does not have to do the work all by himself. Error!Sans also meets an unexpected and uninvited guest which he wanted to destroy however, he is unsuccessful. Error!Sans then reluctantly interacts with this wandering lost soul and tries to gain information on how and why they are in the Anti-Void.
Error!Frisk[]
Error!Frisk otherwise known as Zerror is the apprentice to Error!Sans to become the next AU Destroyer. Error!Frisk unlike Error!Sans is not a genocidal manic who only cares for destroying alternative universes instead they are trying to find their Sans in the Multiverse. Error!Frisk only agrees to be Error!Sans's apprentice simply because they want to find their Sans nothing more.
Outertale Frisk[]
Frisk is friends with Sans, Papyrus, Undyne and Alphys as they use their powers of Determination for good however, one day two humans arrive in their alternative universe. One of them declares battle and starts to fight them as Frisk fights beside their friends to stop the human intruders.
Outertale Sans[]
Sans the skeleton is a witty person making jokes and tries to help his brother any way he can. Sans becomes friends with the human as they help to lift his brother's spirits up and to keep his promise with Toriel. One day he sees two humans in front of him, Frisk, Undyne and Papyrus as one of them declares battle. Sans battles with his friends to survive against the human adult, but he does not realise what he is going up against.
Outertale Papyrus[]
Papyrus the skeleton and brother to Sans is a person who is trying to get into the Royal Guard with his brother to help alongside him. Papyrus is a joyous and energetic fellow believing everyone can be better if they just try and he will help them get them there no matter what it takes. Papyrus then meets Frisk and tries to capture them at first, but soon they become friends supporting each other. One day Papyrus along with his friends meets two humans as one of them declares battle upon them and so Papyrus defends his friends and family against this unknown threat.
Outertale Undyne[]
Undyne is the Royal Guard protecting her friends and people from any danger that might come their way. Undyne is the mentor and friends with Papyrus as they spar together in order to better themselves in combat. One day Undyne meets the human although they started out on the wrong foot Papyrus engineered a situation so that they become friends. One day Undyne along with her friends see two more humans as one of them declares battle. Undyne fights alongside her friends to protect them and stop this unknown threat.
Underfell Frisk[]
Frisk the human is a person with power of Determination on their side as they can save, load, reset, and much more as they are about to start their journey. However, they are interrupted by the appearance of a human adult and someone who likes similar to them, but with an inverted colour scheme. After spending some time with them the glitched version of themselves teleport both of them to Anti-Void as the glitched version of them teleports back, but soon is rescued by CORE!Frisk.
Underfell Flowey[]
Flowey the Flower unlike his original counterpart is much kinder and helpful towards Frisk than towards other monsters. However, once he meets an human adult wearing a lime tutu they also see the brutality of humankind as he has a cruel death.
Underfell Toriel[]
Toriel unlike her Undertale counterpart is much more sadistic and cruel towards other monsters however, she has a soft spot for humans and does everything she could to protect them. Also Toriel has selfish and lustful intentions as she gets what she wants, but it may cost her own life.
Underfell Sans[]
Sans is a much more serious and ill-tempered personality although he shares traits with his Undertale counterpart he is more apathetic and cruel towards humans. Sans meets multiple humans along the way, but the last human he ever sees is a woman wearing a brown apron and has scruffy dark hair. Sans uncharacteristically pities the human as they do not want to kill him however, Sans has other plans and clearly states that he will make them a killer. Will he be successful or will this human fall once again?
Underfell Papyrus[]
Papyrus the brother of Sans the skeleton and captain of the Royal Guard caught his brother trying to kill two humans which he is not pleased about. Papyrus yells at his brother clearly stating they need to capture the humans not kill them so he grabs his brother and announce to the humans that they will be captured soon. Papyrus left with his brother and funnily enough they see another human similarly dressed like Sans, but the clothes are coloured silver. Sans left as Papyrus is going to deal with that human and that is the last time the skeleton brothers ever met.
Underfell Undyne[]
There are many interpretations of the Undyne in UNDERFELL however, in this universe she is known as Undyne the coward. Undyne was the student of Asgore, but they got into many fights and eventually the Mountain King plucked her eye out which resulted her fleeing to Waterfall. Undyne becomes obsessed with vengeance and wanting revenge on the Mountain King so she waits for a human to come to Waterfall and steal their soul so that she becomes stronger. Undyne sees a human wearing golden cowboy clothing and tries to ambush them, but will she be successful or does this human have a trick up his sleeve?
Underfell Muffet[]
Muffet the spider is a kind and caring person as well she is quite rich for some unknown reason. Muffet although caring she will be hostile if anybody hurts her spiders, but that will be the only reason for to battle someone. Muffet meets a human adult in a creased indigo blazer while having creased formal trousers and shoes. Muffet interacted and becomes friend with them however, she does not know what danger the human possess as the human did start a civil war in the Underground.
Underfell Mettaton[]
Mettaton is a killer robot that is trying to be an entertainer instead however he is unsuccessful and gets mocked for it on a daily basis however, one day he meets a human on his stage. Mettaton tries to befriend the human, but he has dark intentions as he intends to steal their soul to become more popular however, the human wearing turquoise sportswear clearly sees his act. The human adult did not waste any time as they battle the killer robot will the human crush the robot or will Mettaton steal their soul?
Underfell Asgore[]
Asgore the Mountain King is a grieving monster blaming others for his mistakes so he punishes the Underground ordering them that's it kill or be killed. This rule resulted in general anarchy throughout the Underground, but upon his throne he meets two humans one covered in dust and the other wearing the skeleton brothers' clothing. The Mountain King has no idea who these people are however, the humans know him very well and one of them hates the Mountain King to bottom of their heart.
WiseTale Krotos[]
The seventh forgotten human wakes up in the Anti-Void travelling aimlessly to find someone or something in the eternal white plain. Eventually he did as he finds a human child and a skeleton reminiscent of Sans the skeleton. Surprised what he believes to see his old rival quickly turns into a battle as they fight each other while the human child secretly helps them. The human child gives him powers to even out the odds against the glitched skeleton, but will he survive or perish at the hands of the Sans lookalike?
WiseTale Sapphire[]
The fifth forgotten human wakes in the alternative universe named UNDERFELL as she is reincarnated as she has an adult's body. Sapphire remembers her final moments just before she died and her mindset becomes cruel and unforgiving. Sapphire wakes up in the Barrier and walks back without being noticed all the way back towards the entry to the Ruins however, she meets a talking flower. The flower begging for it's life as Sapphire kneels gently placing her hand on the flower, but soon tortures him and stomps on him out of existence becoming nothing more than dust then she continues her journey ready to torture her opponents.
WiseTale Aqua[]
Aqua the fourth forgotten human who has fallen after Chara wakes up in the Barrier as she has been reincarnated receiving an adult body. Aqua then becomes more apathetic than she ever was remembering that the Mountain King killed the kindest person they ever knew. Aqua is no longer concerned with anyone's safety so she walks back to Snowdin Forest and starts massacring many monsters without mercy or remorse.
WiseTale Garnet[]
Garnet the second forgotten human who has fallen after Chara also wakes in the Barrier as he is reincarnated with an adult's body. Garnet remembers his last dying moments seeing the Mountain King murder him as he has murdered his sister. Garnet with his revolver in hand leaves the Barrier heading to Waterfall wanting Vengeance murdering anyone he sees in his sight. Garnet soon then encounters a monster who is trying steal his soul, but he is more than ready to fight.
WiseTale Violet[]
Violet the sixth forgotten human who has fallen after Chara waking up in the Barrier. Violet gains more hatred towards monster kind after the Mountain King murdered her and somehow she is reincarnated with an adult body. Violet then wants to finish her work, but instead of making the Underground suffer she just wants monster kind to cease to exist. Violet leaves the Barrier and goes throughout Hot lands eventually seeing a humanoid spider and she decides to interact with it with dark intentions.
WiseTale Amber[]
Amber the first forgotten human who has fallen after Chara is the second to last one to wake up in the Barrier. Reincarnated she remembers her final moments seeing a trident impaled through her chest. Amber then tries to exist the Barrier only to realise that she is trapped, so she then decides to leave heading to the Core and into a entertainment stage. Amber sees a robot trying to befriend her however, she knows they have dark intention so instead they decide to battle the robot.
WiseTale Emerald[]
Emerald the third forgotten human who has fallen after Chara is the last person to wake up in the Barrier. Emerald soon realises that she died and somehow she has been reincarnated with an adult body. Emerald then exits the Barrier and stumbles upon a Corridor in the far west however, she is then confronted by a skeleton. Emerald is scared of the skeleton as he soon realises that Emerald is not a killer however, he openly announces to them that he will make them one and so the battle between them begins.
CORE!Frisk[]
CORE!Frisk is the owner of the Omega Timeline and saves people from the Genocide Timelines helping them to make a new living in the Omega Timeline. CORE!Frisk inherits the Soul of Wisdom created by X-Gaster after their experiment with Nightmare. CORE!Frisk looks closely at Error's apprentice and their new friend and sees their journey unfold no matter how grim it is.
Nightmare!Sans[]
Nightmare!Sans works with X-Gaster to create twisted versions of the human Souls corrupting and changing each of the Soul's traits one by one. Nightmare!Sans recruits darker variations of Sans from each alternate universe for his army with one goal in mind. To erase all positive emotions in the Multiverse along with his army and his new boss.
Ink!Sans[]
Ink!Sans is the former protector of alternative universes as he has joined X-Gaster to create the one perfect universe so that he can feel something new and bring his friend Cross happiness. Ink!Sans wears dark robes similar to X-Gaster's along with giant X in the middle as he still has his paintbrush beside him. Ink!Sans encounters Zerror and their friend as X-Gaster demanded him to capture Zerror's friend as Ink!Sans follows X-Gaster's orders.
W.D. Gaster/X-Tale[]
W.D. Gaster or otherwise known as X-Gaster from X-Tale is a person with the ability to Overwrite creating nothing into something and at first he intended to use this ability for good to give Frisk and Chara a good life. However, he became obsessed with the ability as he kept using it with insidious, but it results in Chara and Frisk going insane as X-Gaster no longer saw them as people instead he sees them as puppets. Eventually he would fall and his AU would be destroyed as he is stuck in the Void however, with the help of Ink!Sans he returned. X-Gaster helps Nightmare create the twisted version of the human's Souls so to see what experiment will provide for him and his insidious intentions.
