Applefell is an Underfell take that has a touch of the Snow White storyline added to it, with a more renaissance theme to its aesthetic. The wicked queen Toriel is the main antagonist here, with Flowey taking the role of "mirror", though what exactly that means is not revealed. In the AU, both Chara and Frisk are girls, considering the character they represent is a girl as well, Chara being the original "Snow White", and Frisk having traits of her. Apples likely play an important role in the story.

Much of the plot is still vague, due to the story not having progressed very far before going on hiatus, and the author not giving spoilers.
