Basically, it's the energy of genocide, but you don't kill anyone. The characters don't really develop, because Frisk is too rude to help them, but they are released. Like, the puzzle room with Papyrus in Geno for example. HP!Frisk would just walk by it, and then proceed to spare a Froggit. Just an idea.

Surface monsters have the same type of energy humans have in their souls but underground humans dont
