Posting the link here because FANDOM is blocking Wiki.GG links from being rendered on articles
Due to the sudden mass influx of AUs that do not meet our minimum existence requirements over the last few days, i feel the need to clearly state that creating pages for AUs with no or little presence on this wiki should not be done. The existence parameters can be found under the categories i will link here, and if an AU does not meet these criteria, do not add them to this wiki

https://undertale-au.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000000057777 please look at the post linked here for more information
We have a new article for animations: https://undertale-au.fandom.com/wiki/Fanmade_Animations
Feel free to put in any that you have seen!
Reminder that the Fanmade Songs and Fanmade Games pages exist and are open for anyone to edit, so if anyone knows any they feel should be there, please add it!
With the new Navbox being filled in, the Basic Change overhaul is now truly completed!
Posting again because the old one had some issues: Does anybody here know some AUs that are not yet on this wiki?
If so, please share a link to them here, so i can look into potentially adding them at some point.
Only share if they meet the minimum existence requirements, meaning:
- For comics, At least 5 pages containing a total of 20 panels or 20 total single-panel pages.
- For animations, at least 5 minutes of animation in a single episode, or a total of 20 collective minutes in the series.
- For written stories, At least 1,000 words of writing.
- For games, NO BATTLES. It needs to at least have a Ruins-length demo.
Do not post Google Docs, or links that lead to a Wiki or music (either on Soundcloud or YouTube).
Hello everybody! This is primarily geared towards the most active users, so if you only stop by every few weeks, this doesn't heavily concern you, but feel free to contribute to the discussion none-the-less.
So as I'm sure at least some of you are aware, Camila—the creator of Glitchtale—has created an Independent Glitchtale Wiki, one that is operated and maintained by those working directly with her in order to give readers accurate information. Once the Independent Glitchtale Wiki went live, a new question arose regarding an older Glitchtale Wiki that was maintained at the time by fans. What happens to the FANDOM Glitchtale Wiki?
A few days ago, somebody who works directly with Camila had an idea for that place. Rather than leave it abandoned to future vandalism and anarchy, the FANDOM Glitchtale Wiki (which will simply be referred to as the "Glitchtale Wiki" for the rest of this post) would be converted into a Glitchtale AU Wiki. For frequent users of this place, I'm sure you already know what that basically means. The Glitchtale Wiki would be converted into a place that resembles this Wiki, but primarily for Glitchtale AUs. Preparations were soon put underway, and all articles on the Glitchtale Wiki were soon deleted to make room for the new Glitchtale AU Wiki. During this time, I was brought aboard to assist with the conversion and help build the infrastructure—as the proposed Glitchtale AU Wiki would be modeled after this place. Hours after the last article was deleted, however, FANDOM STAFF intervened and reversed practically all the work put into the transition. After much time was spent in discussion between the Wiki Manager of the Glitchtale Wiki and the Administration of the Glitchtale Wiki that were working on the transition, a solution was eventually reached. Merge the Glitchtale Wiki with the Undertale AU Wiki. Which brings us to the reason for this post and announcement.
You see, the Wiki Manager of the Glitchtale Wiki has stated that the transition proposed "is considered a merge", and proper procedure must be taken. Not long after, a merge target in the form of this wiki—the Undertale AU Wiki—was determined. I suggested to merge the Glitchtale Wiki into this wiki because this wiki already has the infrastructure in place for Glitchtale AUs in the form of AUs of AUs. Running this idea by the Administration of the Glitchtale Wiki—and even Camila herself—they each liked the idea. I have also run the idea by the other Administrators of this wiki, and each of them approve of such a merge as well.
So now the process turns to the general userbase—which is why I started this post by saying it was geared towards the most active users. Since many of you aren't incredibly active here, only coming by to work on your article every now and then, the decision of this merge won't affect you one way or another. For the remainder of you who are far more active than the average user, this merge represents an opportunity for you to assist others in article creation. We plan to accept these new Glitchtale AUs with open arms and invite you to join us in this action. What say you? What are your thoughts of this merge happening?
Music is not able to tell a story. As the medium is the way a story is told, it cannot be a medium. Stop asking. I'm getting tired of it.
If you take a look into the rules and policies, you will find that the header that appears so often in in articles known as "About the AU" is not allowed on this site, and any article that contains this header is liable to be deleted instantly for breaking the Article Creation rules. Talk about the AU in the Introduction, where it's supposed to be, and make sure to follow the rules when making a page.
If you have not watched this video yet, watch it now. This will assist you all in the development of your Alternate Universes (hopefully).
Some pages under Candidates of Deletion are going to be deleted in 7 days. If your page is under this category, I suggest editing it to meet standards.
I've noticed that some users have placed Introduction, as found on Page Organization, as it's own separate heading. I'd like to notify all still doing this that this action is false, and that the introduction is the paragraph, or set of paragraphs, that come before any other heading. On the Page Organization policy page, you'll see that Introduction is not marked with heading marks, so it should not be labeled on the article.
(Okay, this is just a warning for Undertale AU creators on the wiki, so please keep that in mind.) Okay, so currently, there is a person running around on TUmblr, trying to report and kill the blogs of many Undertale AU creators. While I don't know most of the details, I feel that this should be brought up. Just in case. ut-storyshft on Tumblr has news about the situation here: ut-storyshift.tumblr.com . As far as I know, one of the victims of this is Epictale's creator, Yugogeer. I will try my best to keep everyone updated here as well, once I find more conclusive information about this threat.
When it originally started, it was a fun thing Users did and, unlike today, it never really came close to flaming. However, it is different today, as blogs that could be considered flaming are made under the premise of being truthful about the creator's opinions of these other users. This flaming was typically overlooked by staff, but due to a recent flame war that broke out because of one of these "User Opinion" blogs, a major restriction on them is finally being enforced. Now, I don't want to ban User Opinion blogs outright, but if this flaming issue continues to be a problem, they will be banned.
An easy way to determine if something could be considered flaming is by asking yourself "could this be considered insulting in any reasonable way?". If the answer is yes, then don't post it.
I would just like to request everyone insert an Edit Summary in the "Edit Summary" box. Doing this will seriously assist the administrative staff. I am aware that it is easy to forget to do, but with the following steps, you can easily get a reminder to add one after every edit.
- Open Preferences
- This can be found on the top bar where the search bar is, on the far right under your profile picture. Then go down to "My Preferences".
- Go to the "Editing" Tab
- Scroll down until you see "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary"
- Check the box
- Hit "Save" (Found at bottom of the screen.)
Be aware that farther into the future, it may be required for the entering of an edit summary, so best to get into the habit now rather than later.
